After 30+ years of dedicated service, I've made the bittersweet decision to retire as a tax professional. With the full support of my family, I'm ready to embark on a new chapter.

I started this firm in 1998, and I could never have imagined the incredible journey it would become. From my humble beginnings over the years, we've grown into a thriving business with a wonderful team of colleagues. Most importantly, it's been an immense privilege to work with and become a part of the lives of our incredibly valued clients and serve the community.

Introducing Gonzalez Tax & Associates, LLC

My decision to retire was only possible by ensuring that you would continue to receive exceptional tax services. I am thrilled to announce that Adolfo Carrillo and Omar F. Perez will be taking over the business, operating as Gonzalez Tax & Associates, LLC, starting in December 2025. I've known Adolfo and Omar for some time and have complete confidence that they will uphold the high standard of service my team and I have always strived for. They will continue to operate from our current office at 8129 Kennedy Boulevard West in North Bergen. Your tax records will remain securely in our system, and any clients who consented will have their files confidentially transferred to the new system. We are currently scheduling appointments for new and returning clients for the 2025 tax season on their behalf. A Heartfelt Thank You

RG Gonzalez Accounting LLC would not have achieved its success without the incredible support of my dedicated staff, including Guille and Pepe. And, of course, our beloved office dogs throughout the years - Barney, Pepsi and Bosco - brought so much joy.

Finally, I want to express my appreciation for my wife, co-owner, office manager and dutiful tax preparer, Leticia. She has supported this venture every step of the way and has done a great job making our clients feel at home in the office.

Over the next several months, my staff and I, along with Adolfo and Omar, will be diligently transitioning work and updating our systems to ensure everything is ready for the 2025 tax season.
